AMURT Romania 1993-2016 (Romania - Marga History) 1993 to 2008: Domnesti Children's Home: for children with the love and special care that they needed to overcome the challenges caused by the traumas of their early life experiences. 2009 to 2015 (2017): An effort to prepare homeless youths for adulthood by using a development approach when exercising day-to-day tasks in learning life and work skills. 2014 to 2016: Reduce poverty among Roma and other ethnic groups by practicing the democratic citizenship, multiculture dialogue and with employment opportunities.

October 2017
On October 19, 2017 caught fire. The roof was extensively damaged and has to be completely replaced. Before the fire, plans were underway to do minor renovations to convert the building into an after-school center or youth center to build on the work we have done with the local community, but this was an enormous setback.
